Continuing in its mission to support education for underserved and underrepresented youth, The Rao Foundation has made a donation to the Young Musicians and Education Center of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

The Kim Noltemy Young Musicians program targets regions of the city lacking educational and musical resources, filling a gap in Dallas ISD school zones whose students can benefit the most. The Young Musicians program serves as the first tier of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s comprehensive instrument training curriculum and aims to make the transformative power of music education accessible to all children in Dallas. For this reason, The Rao Foundation is proud to support this mission.
The Kim Noltemy Young Musicians provides 7-10 hours of weekly orchestral music education, instruments, performance and mentorship opportunities at no cost to 1,200 students throughout seven training sites across East and Southern Dallas.
